Overview
Murano crossover has been a popular model for Nissan. For the 2010 model year, changes to Murano are relatively minor. The 2010 Nissan Murano is available in six models: Murano S FWD, Murano S AWD, Murano SL FWD, Murano SL AWD, Murano LE FWD (New for 2010) and Murano LE AWD. The Japanese auto major expects to build on that success with what they call a "super evolution" of the Murano.
Powertrain And Performance
A VQ-series 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine rated at 265 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque and an advanced Xtronic CVT which provides a sporty and smooth driving experience is standard. The Murano is available in front-wheel drive or with an Intuitive All-Wheel Drive system, and all Muranos come standard with Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) with a Traction Control System (TCS) for all-weather confidence. The AWD and FWD models deliver 18/23 city/highway mpg. The cargo volume with the rear seats up is 31.6 cubic feet.
Build And Styling
The standard or available technology includes Nissan Intelligent Key with Push Button Start, Interface System for iPod, 11-speaker Bose premium audio system, an advanced touch screen navigation system with 9.3GB Music Box hard drive, and Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System.
The revisions for 2010 include a new Murano LE FWD model, Leather Package and Moonroof Package availability widened on Murano SL FWD, privacy glass on Murano S (Now standard on all models), Intelligent Key standard on Murano S and SL models, simplified exterior and interior color combinations, Vehicle Security System added as standard on Murano SL, Dual Panel Moonroof standard on Murano LE and roof rails now standard on Murano SL.

Nissan Advanced Air Bag System with dual-stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt and occupant classification sensors, driver and front-passenger seat-mounted side-impact supplemental air bags, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Traction Control System (TCS) and LATCH are standard safety features on the 2010 Nissan Murano.
